Keynote Speakers

 

Prof. Dr. Jalel Ben-Othman (University of Paris 13)*

Prof. Ben-Othman received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees both in Computer Science from the University of Pierre et Marie Curie, (Paris 6) France in 1992, and 1994 respectively. He received his PhD degree from the University of Versailles, France, in 1998. He was an Assistant Professor at the University of Orsay (Paris 11) and University of Pierre et Marie Curie (Paris 6), in 1998 and 1999 respectively. He was an Associate Professor at the University of Versailles from 2000 to 2011. He is currently full professor at the University of Paris 13 since 2011. Dr. Ben-Othman's research interests are in the area of wireless ad hoc and sensor networks, VANETs, IoT, performance evaluation and security in wireless networks in general. He was the recipient of several best papers award (IWCMC'16, EUSPN'14, ICC'11 AHSM, ICCIT'11), the recipient of the IEEE comsoc Communication Software technical committee Recognition Award in 2016, the IEEE computer society Meritorious Service Award in 2016, and he is a Golden Core Member of IEEE Computer Society.  He is member of IEEE technical services board since 2016.

 

Prof. Dr. Nanna Suryana Herman (Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka)*

 

Prof. Nanna Suryana Herman is a full professor at Faculty of Information & Communication Technology Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM). He is also a Director of International Office Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM) and Director of C-ACT Center of Exellence. He received his bachelor degree (Engineer's Degree Field Of Study Soil and Water Engineering) in 1980 from Padjajaran University, Indonesia. He received his master degree (Master's Degree Field Of Study Computer Assisted and Survey Inegration for Regional Planning) in 1987 from Institute of Geoinformatics and Earth Observation, ITC, Netherlands. He received his Ph.D. degree (Field Of Study Hierarchical Spatial Modelling, Decision Support System, Moving and Active Object detection) in 1996 from Department of GIS and Remote Sensing, Wageningen Research University, Holland. His currently research interests are in the area of GIS & Remote Sensing Professional.

 

 

Noor Akhmad Setiawan, Ph.D. (Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia)

Noor Akhmad Setiawan received his Bachelor and Master degree in Electrical Engineering from Universitas Gadjah Mada in 1998 and 2003 respectively. He received his PhD degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS in 2009. He is with the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology Universitas Gadjah Mada. His research interests are Soft Computing and Machine Learning.

 

Dr. Taqwa Hariguna, S.T.,M.Kom. (STMIK Amikom Purwokerto, Indonesia)

Taqwa Hariguna (Dr) is chairmen and a lecturer in Information Systems department at the College of Amikom Purwokerto. PhD from Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, Taiwan. His research focuses on IT/IS adoption, e-Government and management information system. He has published some books and journal. He also active as IEEE member, Director of Asia Pacific Studies and Sustainable Development since 2017.
