Prof. Dr. M. Ali Akcayol (Gazi University, Turkey)
Prof. Dr. M. Ali Akcayol is a distinguished academic and researcher who earned his bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees from Gazi University in 1993, 1998, and 2002, respectively. His doctoral thesis focused on fuzzy logic and the application of artificial neural networks in dynamical systems. In 2004, he conducted postdoctoral research at Michigan State University. Currently, he serves as the director of the Big Data and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, overseeing numerous nationally and internationally funded projects supported by institutions such as Gazi University, TÜB?TAK, the Ministry of Industry and Technology, the Ministry of Health, the World Bank, Havelsan, TAI, KoçSistem, and Huawei. Actively engaged as an editor, reviewer, and committee member for various prestigious journals and conferences, he is also a professional member of the ACM. His research interests include artificial intelligence, deep learning, big data analytics, recommender systems, intelligent optimization techniques, wireless networks, and smart buildings.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Indriana Hidayah, S.T., M.T. (Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia)
Dr. Indriana Hidayah, S.T., M.T. is a faculty member at the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), specializing in Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, and Image Processing. She holds a doctorate in Electrical Engineering from UGM, with research focused on student modeling and adaptive metacognitive scaffolding. Her academic interests include data mining and intelligent systems, and she actively contributes to research in software development and public health technology.
Dr. Fandy Setyo Utomo S.Kom., M.Cs. (Amikom Purwokerto University, Indonesia)
Dr. Fandy Setyo Utomo, S.Kom., M.Cs. is a lecturer and researcher at Universitas AMIKOM Purwokerto, specializing in Information Retrieval, Machine Learning, and Ontology, with particular emphasis on their application in Quranic text processing. With over 100 citations on Google Scholar, his notable works include the development of ontology-based Quranic question-answering systems, stemming analysis for Quranic translations, music recommendation systems utilizing cosine similarity, and machine learning applications for predicting student learning styles. In addition to his research activities, he actively engages in community service, including training programs on academic publishing for students. His research has been published in international journals such as IIUM Engineering Journal and Journal of Physics: Conference Series. Currently, he teaches courses related to Data Science and Information Retrieval at Amikom Purwokerto University.
